He has conducted many outstanding choirs and orchestras in Europe - Cappella Amsterdam, RIAS Kammerkoor, Concertgebouw Kammerorkester, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Concerto Köln, Schönberg Ensemble, Hollandi Raadio Koor, Collegium Vocale Gent etc. In 2007 he debuted in English National Opera.
In the Christian world it is customary to start celebrating Easter already on Holy Saturday after sunset. At the Pärnu concert the first cantata commemorates Christ's suffering and death on the cross with jubilation at his resurrection in the last chorus, only to culminate with Easter Oratorio – the oratorio of resurrection.
