Triin-Eliis Süld (soprano) was born on the island of Vilsandi, Estonia. She began her vocal studies in 2014 at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School under the guidance of Marika Eensalu. In 2022, she graduated cum laude with a Master’s degree in Classical Singing from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she studied under Professor Nadežda Kuremi. Since 2022, she has continued her vocal studies with Monika Hauswalter.
Triin-Eliis has participated in masterclasses with Jörg Dürmüller, Chen Reiss, Natalia Volcenko, David James, Simone Marziali and Thomas Wiedenhofer, as well as in an intensive Baroque singing course organised by NordOpera and led by conductor David Stern.
Her performance experience encompasses opera as well as oratorio and choral repertoire. As a soloist, she has performed works by composers including Pärt Uusberg, Joseph Haydn, Veljo Tormis, Marc-Antoine Charpentier, Georg Friedrich Handel, Franz Schubert, Camille Saint-Saëns and Urmas Sisask. She has collaborated with ensembles and choirs including Tallinn Music House Girl’s Choir, Voces Tallinn, HUIK!, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Mixed Choir, the Estonian National Youth Mixed Choir and Collegium Musicale.
On the opera stage, Triin-Eliis has performed the role of Sandrina in W. A. Mozart’s La finta giardiniera at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Opera Studio in 2021, in a production directed by Marco Gandini and conducted by Paul Mägi. She has also been an understudy for the role of Roxanne in Eino Tamberg’s opera Cyrano de Bergerac at Vanemuine Theatre, in a production directed by Mare Tommingas.
In addition to her work on the opera stage, Triin-Eliis has also appeared on screen. She portrayed the lead role of Ada in Eeva Mägi’s 2022 opera-western 3rd Octave F, in which her character’s voice becomes a central force in the story. The film won Best Short Film in the national competition at PÖFF Shorts 2022 and was selected as Estonia’s candidate for the European Film Academy’s Best European Short Film.
Since September 2026, Triin-Eliis Süld has been a member of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.
