The opening concert of Arvo Pärt's days is the premiere of the composer's instrumental work „Greater Antiphons“. The world debut of the composition takes place this year in May in Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles, performed by Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Gustavo Dudameli. The orchestra composition created this year will sound as the culmination of the 'Mozart & Pärt' festival taking place 19-29 May and focusing on Arvo Pärt's music.

The new composition is accompanied by Arvo Pärt's works dating back to 1960s – „Pro et contra“, ''Collage of B-A-C-H theme'' and „Credo“, created using sound collage technique. The soloist of the cello concert „Pro et contra“ is Leho Karin, the concertmaster of the cello group of Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.

The concert is produced by Nargenfestival
