This extraordinary event will introduce three new pieces for the guitar and choir. Tauno Aints’ new piece, inspired by Mare Kõiva’s book ‘Estonian Spells’, is based on the primal force of the word. Robert Jürjendal offers the listeners a scenic world of sounds with electroacoustic vibrations. Raul Sööt considers the differences and similarities of two instruments - the voice and the string - by contrasting and matching their natures and sound aesthetics.

Performers include the author of the idea of the concert, the Artistic Director of the Viljandi Guitar Festival, Ain Agan, renowned Finnish guitarist Marzi Nyman, the talented Estonian musician, Paul Daniel, Weekend Guitar Trio, (who is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year) and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.

The same programme will be performed on September 21 at the Viljandi Guitar Festival and on September 22 at the Culture Centre of Rakvere.

Produced together with the Viljandi Guitar Festival.
The concert belongs to the festival programme dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Estonia theatre and concert house.

Tickets for the concerts in Tallinn and Viljandi 15/10 € at Piletimaailm, Piletilevi and one hour before the concert at the venue.
