From November 8 to 23, EPCC is touring in the US. Nine concerts will be given in the Eastern coast and Northern part of the state: New York, Durham, Washington, Lexington, Westport, Cincinnati, West Lafayette, Naperville and Minnesota.

The first concert is taking place on November 10, at Lincoln Center in New York. EPCC performs together with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, who is touring in the US at the same time. Maestro Neeme Järvi conducts the programme of works by Tormis, Pärt, Mozart and Sibelius.

 

Other concerts feature a cappella choir music performed by EPCC under the baton of Daniel Reuss. The programmes include music by Johannes Brahms, Alfred Schnittke, and also Estonian composers as Arvo Pärt, Mart Saar, Cyrillus  Kreek, Veljo Tormis. In the concert in Naperville a new piece by an American composer, Edie Hill, will have its premiere.

EPCC has been touring in the US since the beginning of 1990s and the current tour is the 11th US tour for the choir. It is organised by Opus 3 Artists and supported by the Estonian Ministry of Culture.
