A new CD contains two operas – Richard Wagner’s „Der Fliegende Holländer“ and Pierre-Louis Dietsch’s „Le Vaisseau fantôme ou Le Maudit des mers“. The performers include soloists Russell Braun, Sally Matthews, Bernard Richter, Ugo Rabec, Eric Cutler, Mika Kares, Evgeny Nikitin, Ingela Brimberg, Mika Kares, Helene Schneiderman, Bernard Richter, orchestra Les Musiciens du Louvre Grenoble and Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir under the conductor Marc Minkowski. Album consists of 4 CDs and is released by the French label Naïve.
The CD has already arisen interest and recognition. A French magazine Diapason has acknowledged the CD with Diapason d’Or Découverte. A German magazine Opernwelt has named it as the best CD of the month.
The CD has been recorded in May this year during the concert-performances of the operas with the same cast in different European venues in France, Austria and Spain.
