On April 28 and 29, EPCC gives three concerts at the Music Days in Belém – „The Human Voice“ (Chant through the ages) in Lisbon.

 

Two a cappella programs conducted by Daniel Reuss contain music by Cyrillus Kreek, Arvo Pärt, Alfred Schnittke, Johannes Brahms, Jean Sibelius, Felix Mendelssohn and Galina Grigorjeva. The new productions by Portuguese composers Luís Tinoco and Eurico Carrapatoso will be premiered.

 

On the third concert the EPCC together with the Orquestra de Camara Portuguesa under Pedro Carneiro perform Pärt’s „Adam’s Lament“; Beethoven’s „Meerestille und glückliche Fahrt“ and Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody are included.
