On January 22nd and 26th EPCC performs in Salzburg at the Mozart Week where they make an appearance in a stage opera production „Idomeneo“.
Idomeneo is at the centre of the Mozart Week in 2010, it is directed by Olivier Py.
Conductor is Marc Minkowksi and stage opera production is played by Les Musiciens du Louvre-Grenoble. In Leading roles are the best vocal artists today – Richard Croft, Yann Beuron, Sophie Karthäuser, Mireille Delunsch, Colin Balzer.
EPCC participated in „Idomeneo“ production last August at the Musical Theater Bremen. In February after performances in Salzburg, EPCC will give concerts in Lyon and Grenoble, France.
Mozart Week is organized by the International Mozarteum Foundation each January around Mozart’s birthday. Salzburg’s winter classical music festival was first held in 1956 and has since become a highlight on the international calendar of concert events.
