The program, chosen by the singer itself, contains Rahmaninov’s Songs, Shostakovich’s Spanish Songs op. 100 and 5 Romances op 98. Iris Oja is accompanied by the famous English pianist Roger Vignoles, who has been cooperated with Kiri te Kanawa, Thomas Allen etc. The CD was recorded in London Air Studio in November 2006.
Iris Oja is the second Estonian singer who has offered an opportunity to record with one of the leading world-famous recording companies Harmonia Mundi. Kaia Urb (accompanied by the guitarist Heiki Mätlik) has recorded a CD with Russian romantic songs in cooperation with the same company in 2005.
