EPCC recordings have received several prizes lately.

 

The album Arvo Pärt’s “Adam’s Lament” with the Estonian conductor Tõnu Kaljuste won GRAMMY AWARD in the Best Choral Performance cathegory. It was recorded with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, the Sinfonietta Riga, the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, the Latvian Radio Choir and the Vox Clamantis ensemble. The album is released by ECM.

 

The album „Vivit!“ with the music by Rudolf Tobias and Max Reger won the award – the BEST CLASSICAL ALBUM ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2014 in Estonia.

The performers are the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, organist Ene Salumäe, pianist Siim Selis and the conductor Daniel Reuss, the label Ondine.

 

A new CD for ECM will be recorded in February with EPCC and Tallinn Chamber Orchestra under Tõnu Kaljuste, the album will include music by Carlo Gesualdo, Brett Dean and Erkki-Sven Tüür.

 

In May EPCC is going to record Jean Sibelius’ choral works conducted by Heikki Seppänen. The CD will be released by Ondine.
