2002.09.02:   The EPCC administration has decided to stop employing a webmaster.
Therefore neither a webmaster nor a link to send him a message can be found from now on.

Sincerely yours Erkki Targo

2002.08.22:   There is a new subpage at the homepage - Choir's Chronology. A complete list of EPCC singers during the choir's 21 years history can be traced there. One can find links to the new subpage from the subpages Choir and Staff.

2002.02.18:   The structure of subpages Programs and Early History has been slightly changed. Now there is a guiding column on the left side of the window showing the number of the year you're looking at. That's why you don't see any more year numbers at the program's headings (the Programs subpage).

2001.12.08:   EPCC, in cooperation with The State Choir Latvia, participated in 10 concerts of Mozart's and Händel's music in Israel. The concerts were conducted by Ivor Bolton, The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra was playing and six outstanding soloists were singing. Unfortunately, Homepage has missed part of this important information - take this as an apology to soprano Arianna Zukerman, mezzo-sopranos Patricia Risley and Cécile van de Sant, countertenor Michael Chance, tenor Paul Nilson and bass Alan Ewing.
The soloists' exact participation in concerets could be traced in history.
Also, there was skipped piece in Mozart's program - between Ave verum corpus and Mass in c minor, Symphony no. 34 in C major was performed by the orchestra.

2001.10.03:   There is a last-minute update in choir's schedule - for some readers might be important to know about EPCC's projects as soon as possible.
Although it is rather late, we're happy to announce our concert-tour to Austria from October 8 to 13.

2001.07.16:   At the beginning of EPCC 20th concert season, in autumn 2000, Tõnu Kaljuste announced his decision to quit the post of artistic director and principal conductor of EPCC.
As his successor he proposed Paul Hillier, previous artistic director and founder of The Hilliard Ensemble, who has been engaged in musical and educational activity at various universities in U.S. during last 10 years.
Paul Hillier's contacts with EPCC have a long history. The first cooperation took place in 1990, when the choir recorded its first CD - Forgotten Peoples by Veljo Tormis. The record came out under ECM label, the producer was Paul Hillier. In 1991 he worked with the choir giving valuable vocal advice and conducting St. John's Passion by Arvo Pärt at concerts in Toomkirik (Lutheran Cathedral), Tallinn. In spring 1999 Paul Hillier was the guest conductor at EPCC again - this time with a program of English romantic music.
Negotiations went smoothly - in February 2001 a three-year-contract between Paul Hillier and The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir was signed.
Starting from the next concert season, September 2001, the artistic director and principal conductor of EPCC is Paul Hillier.

2001.07.11:

  Hello!
This is a new subpage of our old homepage. Its function should be clear from its title: here we
- announce changes in EPCC life;
- draw your attention to forthcoming events of potential interest to you;
- reflect the response to EPCC activities world wide;
- point out changes in the homepage itself.
The link to the News-subpage at the frontpage will be permanent; the date next to the link is of the publication of the latest news. The link itself appears in a smaller print after two weeks from the last publication.
The news will be presented as one file, the latest news on top. In two years the news become stale and will be transferred to the archive.
