The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir celebrates its 25th anniversary on Saturday, the 1st of July. The EPCC as a full-time professional choir was occifially founded on the 1st of July in 1981.
The founder of the choir, Tõnu Kaljuste, acted as its artistic director and chief conductor for 20 years. Since 2001 the choir’s artistic director and chief conductor has been Paul Hillier. 

The EPCC has become the best-known Estonian classical music performer and one of the best choirs in the world. The choir has collaborated with several well-known recording companies and has also been very successful as a performing group at prominent concert venues and festivals.
On its birthday the choir will return from France, the Festival de Saint-Denis.


Next season of the EPCC will be opened on the 3rd and the 4th of August on Naissaare island with the programme “Evenings with Arvo Pärt”.
